Nick Name: StarChild

Age or Sign: Aquarius

Hometown: Louisville

Ethnicity: African American

Passion: Poetry, Psychology, and Unique Product Development

O&A session:

OM: How long have you been expressing your artistic side?

StarChild: I have been expressing myself through song and poetry ever since I could speak. I am also very creative when it comes to business, developing, and executing product ideas with mass appeal. I think that is why I love working for Realsauna Sporting Goods; it gives me the opportunity to be creative in many different ways.

OM: What else have you done using your artistic skill and have you worked with anyone famous?

StarChild: Currently I work part with a product development team and global accounts manager for Realsauna Sporting Goods LLC, located in southern California. Which is a very popular company that supplies specialty sauna suits to the United States for the military, professional boxers, MMA fighters, celebrity fitness coaches, and to novice athletes who like to take extreme measures to lose weight fast and keep it off? I have worked as a ghostwriter on several movies, and I have done some background and voice over work in movies and television. I know some very famous people, but our relationships are strictly confidential… (Wink)….I respect their privacy.

OM: What are your measurements?

StarChild: 38, 28, 36

OM: Do you have any tattoos and do they have a special meaning?

StarChild: No tattoos, but I absolutely love being painted from head to toe in henna….tattoos are a little too permanent for me and I’m an Aquarius, my mood changes a lot and permanent tattoos are too restrictive as far as my free expression goes. However, one day, I might get a tribal tattoo somewhere on my body that can be easily covered up if need be. (Smile)

OM: You are a lovely and talented woman; I am sure all the guys out in the Orangeverse would like to know are you single?

StarChild: No, I am not single. I am very much and very happily married.

OM: If you had your choice of any man in the world what woman would, you like to get at (romantically that is)?

StarChild: Funny I cannot think of one.

OM: Do you have any children?

StarChild: Yes, I have two children, a daughter and a son.

OM: What would you say your best attribute is?

StarChild: My heart and personality

OM: How is your support chain (family)?

StarChild: My support chain is strong and balanced.

OM: Loved your clip and poetry, what inspired you to write it? How would you describe your musical sound?

StarChild: If you have not gotten a chance to listen to my poetry and a little bit, of my singing…check out this link, I think this might give you a better idea of who I am as an artist. This is how I hang out with my artsy friends:

On Everything, I Love…

Sometimes I have to live in skin that does not fit me, at all, period. I have to learn how to sacrifice and be a decent woman of values, righteousness, and high virtue. I have to see what everybody always tell me to see, just so for a little while, I am in peace. My Mama was a strong potent woman, like steel, but always as soft and as tempting as sweet cotton candy. She always raised me up with all that kept on pulling her down, everyday. Compassion and misery taught me who I was, and who I would grow up to be; and because it was not all good, none of the time, I am glad about that, real glad. My ability to walk away and common sense gave me more options than most folk ever have in their whole lifetime. For that, I shall never be angry with Mama because she taught me about life and told me the truth, and showed me the facts. It was through her unhealable burns, that the fire that blazed through her life has never touched my beautiful skin. At least I can say,” I do not have any visible scars, on the outside.” She gave me a love that was immeasurable, permanent, and unwavering. She gave me who I am, and for that, I will always love, admire, embrace, and scorn her. Her broken heart taught me how to love until my own death, but not how to let go or catch my own breath. Even after, I am hushed and gone on, and living on, I will miss her spirit to the point of aching. I will cry so much, I will begin to sleep in her old garments, just to feel renewed by her shed flesh, and to steal a sudden stench of her fading perfume. I will appreciate the laughter, applaud all the pain, digest every one of the tears shed, and prevail in all of the music that she used to shake her ass to just to help her to deal with it all. Forever, I will always owe her, my Mama, my best friend, my governess, inspiration, wisdom, and strength. Yes, I do love this debt, and I shall never pay it off, even when I am able. Just so, I can feel as if I am close to her…

OM: That was Lovely, Do you dance?

thing or place?

StarChild: I do not club so I totally do not know where a person should go for that kind of thing. But if you’re in Los Angeles I would say go to the beaches, especially Venice Beach it is a great experience for those who have never been to “La La Land”, it’s crowded and dirty but lots of great things and people to see and food to taste. I would also say stay at a great hotel if you were not staying with friends or family, my favorite is The Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills, it is worth every single penny. The Garment District in downtown Los Angeles is a great place for people watching and shopping, it gives you the total feel of living in a big city with every culture imaginable. Also take a ride down PCH (Pacific Coast Highway) right before the sun starts to set, the views are amazing, and just keep driving west until you pass Malibu and hit Zuma Beach where you can park the car, feel your toes in the sand and watch the sun set over the ocean in a quiet serene setting.

OM: Do you workout or go to the gym?

StarChild: I do not like gyms because I always feel so distracted and closed off from nature. I am an outdoors kind of girl. I prefer to take 2-4 hour walks alone with my headphones on. I can walk for days if I have my music. Walking to me is like deep meditation, and medication! I feel wonderful after a long walk, and I try to make time for my walks at least 5-6 days out of the week.

OM: Do you drink and if so what is your favorite drink?

StarChild: I am not a drinker, but I will have a glass of red wine occasionally.

OM: In your everyday life where can you be seen at, you know (school, supermarkets) you know?

StarChild: I love Trader Joes, I love to go to the open farmer’s market on Wednesdays and Fridays to buy locally grown organic fruits and veggies and flowers, and I also love any little second hand thrift shop around town. I am not into designer this or that, I love hand-made anything, old jeans, sundresses, pretty sandals, flip flops and vintage clothing, so I am always rummaging through second hand stores.

OM: Do you have any musical or other positive influences in your life, what Inspires you?

StarChild: I am inspired by being able to live my life. I love jazz and blues music. I love the study of magic of spirituality as in black magic, voodoo, anything that is not commercial. I grew up with a grandmother who was very spiritual and parents who were very religious, but my spirit leaned more towards the spiritual than religious. Poetry and music inspire me. I am an advocate of loving people and just being a loving person. I know there is a lot of hurt and sorrow in the world, but I have always chosen to keep my focus on the good and positive. I guess that is why I love to write erotic love poetry. I can create worlds where everything I imagine is so, where people are happy beings and love is the blood that runs through their veins.

OM: What is your favorite color?

StarChild: Turquoise

OM: What is your favorite flower and why?

StarChild: I love gardenias, sweet peas, and freesias because they all smell so beautifully sweet. I usually keep an arrangement of one of the three in my home, either as a centerpiece on my kitchen island or in my living room. It is a lovely feeling when you walk by a bunch of beautiful flowers and they seem to say hello to you by giving you a quick waft of their fragrance, what a sweet way to say hello.

OM: What is your favorite TV show or Movies?

StarChild: I do not really watch TV that often but when I do, I love to watch all the episodes of the HBO series “In Treatment”. My favorite commercial movie at present is still Avatar, and I love watching documentaries (all kinds). I could actually overdose on independent films and foreign movies with subtitles, for some reason watching things that are not on the “popular” grid gives me a great sense of pleasure, like a new adventure!

OM: Do you have any other hobbies or special talents?

StarChild: I am an advocate for Autism. I love working with children with autism. My 14-year-old son Chima is autistic. I love finding different non-conventional ways to communicate with autistic children. It is really a whole other world and way of communication outside of speaking with words. A lot of their communication comes by way of inner understanding, eye contact, body language, and personality vibrations.

OM: While pursuing your dream, what do you do to pay the bills?

StarChild: I work for Realsauna Sporting Goods LLC. I am a part of the Product Development Team and I am The Global Accounts Manager. I love product development, brainstorming and creating new ideas for products. I have been working with Realsauna for the past 11 years and it’s been fun watching Realsauna grow from zero to being the #1 Best sauna suit supplier in the world.

OM: Do you have favorite designer clothing, jewelry that type of stuff?

StarChild: I love anything silver with turquoise. My favorite product now is The Realsauna Sauna Suit. I love selling a product that always gives me an opportunity to interact with the positive feedback and energy from the satisfied customer, there is nothing more rewarding!
