Tim: Hello brother my dream to play professional football, and become a musician. Playing the saxophone became a passion of mines as well.
OM: How were you in
high school and how different are you now?
Tim: I’m very different from I was in high school. In high school I wasn’t as outgoing as I am now.. I went from high school to the Military. Even though I could not follow my dreams, I found another passion and dream in cooking fine foods. You know everyone loves to eat!
OM: You are so right about that, I am hungry now. How long have you been in the Culinary Arts?
Tim: I’ve been preparing Fine Cuisine and working in the Culinary Arts for over twenty years now.
OM: What types of cake do you create; tell us about your flavor?
TM: Red Velvet Cake with butter cream frosting covered with pecans, my signature cake, and the dark color of red is so hot and attractive. I can also add different flavoring such as fresh squeezed lemon juice and vanilla abstract, which give the taste a sweet twang.
Tim: My Signature is sort of like a vegetable medley, It’s a mixture of seasoned vegetables seasoned very well, and smoked on the grill.
OM: Are you professionally trained in the culinary arts and if so where did you receive this training?
Tim: Yes, I received my training from Pikes Peak Community College located inColorado Springs, Colorado. I attended the culinary courses given. I received further training while serving in the US Amy.
Tim: I remember cooking for a few dignitaries when I was a young soldier, and I’ve met a few pro athletes, that has their hand in food service like, Franco Harris, BO Jackson, and Hershel Walker
OM: Tell us a little about your Military career?
Tim: I served twenty one year’s honorably in the US Army as a Food Service Manager. I have been deployed several times to the following countries: Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, and three times to Afghanistan. I was stationed at Guantanamo Bay (GTMO), and dealt with some of the same terrorists elements that you see
on the news. I can’t share much more about that duty detail because of National Security, please believe it’s real.
OM: That is a fabulous career and we do believe it. I want to thank you for your service because without people like you we would not have the freedoms we hold so dear! So tell us about your family a bit.
Tim: Well my beautiful wife and I have our special private moments. I have three wonderful children 2 boys and little lady. My children bring me so much joy. My children are doing very well in school, they make great grades, play basketball and participate in different invents to include pageants.
OM: Tell us a few basic facts about you?
Tim: I would say my best attribute is my hard work. In everything I do, my family supports me 100%. Even in good and in bad times they are in my corner. My favorite flower is Tulips; I don’t buy any roses for my wife. I guess the reason could be that Roses were so popular growing up, and I just wanted to be different. I like dancing but only when I am in the mood. My favorite color is Green. I would have to say that a few of my best attributes are being successful and always trying to be the best that I can. Being a great planer these are the things that keeps me motivated and trying to do better.
Tim: The VISTA is a nice club located in downtown Columbia. Downtown Columbia has nice restaurants, Bars, Grills and the night life is AWSOME! Everything of course is located right smack in the middle of Carolina “GAMECOCK territory”, please don’t fear the Rooster. 😉
